The simplest are the flat brake calipers but if you would want a 3d caliper you will have to make a 2 part mold.
Heres what you will need :

This resin is a one to one mixture.
so once the mold is made ,simply mix the resin pour it into your mold, pour from one end slowly. The only mistake you can make is to not ensure that there aren´t any bubbles after you poured into the mold and waited till it settled. How i prevent bubbles but even then its not a sure thing is to pour the mix slowly into your mold and then i use a needle to stir the resin while its in the mold to shake up the bubbles.
3d molds are abit trickier you will need to make markers on your mold where the second half will be attached, so your second part fits correctly into your first part.I normaly put 2 objects like a tiny nut on one end and a bolt on the other. You have to wait till the first half is completely settled before doing the second half AND REMEMBER TO TAPE OFF OPEN GAPS on the part you are making a mold of.

This is simply my way of making and it there are probably alot of better ways but this was for me the simplist and less time consuming way.
