Hey

Anyone bought the Hobby Design transkit for Autoart Aventador?
I saw a few of them on Ebay and they looks interested



Woud like to know how does this fit to the model.. Any pictures how does the model looks with thouse parts on it are welcome..
Can't find anything..

Hobby design have a finished model they showed. Their kits tend to be very good. Doubt there would be any fitment problems

You have to cut the front bumper that is part of the metal body, I would never attempt that mod, plus I think the DMC kit is far better looking.

I mean, the questions is, do you have the nerve to take apart a great $150 model and add some bling to it?
I think it should fit well, given it's Hobby Design.

I already mount Hobby design DMC kit to my Navy green 1:18 MR Collection Lamborghini Aventador which is limited to 25pieces... So this is not a problem.
The car looks cool but I don't want to spend 13432 years to build it..

I would love to build one, but i have a Nissan GT-R LB kit waiting, a GT86 Rocket bunny and a BMW M3 E92 too.... So i am not making another move... I would LOOOOOVE to do a MURCIELAGO LB kit though...

The DMC kit its nothing like this, here you have to cut metal bumper of the car, make the kit fit and then repaint everything, if you can do it then great but dont think its as easy as the DMC one.

No, unfortunately there is not. BUT if we make a petition, maybe TK diecast or Hobby design will manage to make one.............. I am in for a start..

a friend of mine got the Aventador kit and had me cut off the front bumper. The kit itself is nice but man, cutting off that bu,mper was a pain!!! the material is so thick, a dremel is not enough, i used a bandsaw and still had issues because there is just so much metal. mounting the r35 LB bumper to the AUTOart model is nothing compaired to the difficulties of the aventador. Besides the bumper, rest seems to be good.

Check my threads in Model workshop and showcase. I have built a couple of these Hobby Design LB's so far, and as Lars said, cutting the front bumper off is the hardest job. The diecast is so thick under the headlight buckets but once the bumper is removed, the rest of the kit fits well. Go for it, totally worth it!
In regards to the Murcielago, D & G made these exclusively for Unusual43 in various colors, but as they had to pay for the licencing of these models, they are US $1200 +. I bought a baby blue version (most expensive model I ever bought) and the quality is very good, but once the Hobby Design kit comes out, I will most likely sell the D & G and build my own.
