Plenty of colour choices for their models, great stuff! I especially like those Defenders.

How can they call themselves Almost Real, when they're clearly far too small!

All joking aside, these look fantastic.

I wouldn't call them fantastic, but still a step in the right direction.

So much potential in the 1:1 of that Bentley Mulsanne Grand Limousine by Mulliner. I hope they can make a model lives up to it in the smaller scale.

Looking good! I think GTS did the wheels on the GT3-R a bit better, but at least it all opens

I don't mind them doing it this way. They've at least shown some prototypes that look close to completion, if they need some time to improve them then I prefer that to releasing a flawed model. They seem to be a company that want to do things right.
It could be much worse; check out the LS Collectibles thread for a company that promised much and delivered little. Virtually none of the models they trumpeted have materialised, and the ones that have look look a bit naff.

I doubt if they're that type of company who want to do things right. They're probably delayed due to licensing issues.
In today's market, its all about profits. Gone are those days where one could get a whole lot more for a lot less.
That being said, they do promise a lot... hope it translates to something that collectors would love (not just the fact that they're metal) and not just a CSM or Paudi with a few minor upgrades.

It opens and has an engine that looks half decent!  :yahoo:

Any idea on likely pricing for these, or anything else from Almost Real?  Looks like they're killing it on detail, but that will mean nothing to a lot of collectors if they're €300+.

I love the Land Rover's! This company really shows promise! But I bet their models won't be cheap, sadly I don't recall seeing any ideas of prices :dunno:

You can check their prices at Minichamps website since they are the supplier.

Cheers, as I figured, quite expensive, but most prices seem on par with most makers these days.

€190 for a P1 GTR in metal with full openings - same price CK has for the TSM resin P1, or €100 less than AUTOart's composite version.

€170 for a Mulsanne or Bentayga - CK is selling Kyosho versions for €230 and €240, and both of those have big doglegs.

They look like being pretty good value to me.
