Thats what I was suspecting, and decided to just ship. He never actually gave me the adress either, despite me asking for it. I just used the return info on the label of the original box.

He now said sorry for the confusion, and that he will refund the car + shipping when he receives it. Thats why I have not mentioned any names yet, it might be all true.

I havent talked to Otto, he said he had, and that they would contact me. But its over now anyway. I think.

To conclude this epic tale, the seller now refunded the full amount + shipping. That said he didnt actually receive the model (yet), its bouncing around in Germany for some reason. It must be equally annoying to run a shop as it is to buy faulty models.

He said I could keep it if it returns to me, but I ticked the box "do not return to sender" because then I have to pay the shipping back.

Does anyone know what happens to parcels like that? Landfill? DHL Christmas party?
