Great photo's of a model I am seriously considering buying.
Amazingly, neither the Minichamps or Schuco 1/18th scale versions are of this particular race - the Norisring round of the DRM.
The Norisring had long been the biggest race of the year for the DRM, usually attracting overseas drivers to compete (although not in 1976!).
Could you give us your opinion of the model, now that you have seen it 'in the flesh'?....

Opinion,
Exterior Fantastic really happy! It's certtainly imposing and front wheels can be steering positioned. Nice weight 'cos it's diecast and paint and decals are more than adequate. For the price pointy of this model it's better than expected!
Interior is a dead loss painted seatbelts and sticker dials really poor.

great looking model, it's just a shame about the interior. Must admit though, I was surprised at the cost. It's not overly expensive for a 1:12 and will make a great center piece to a collection

It looks Great in that livery and stands very well,i was thinking of getting one but i have the Orange Tamiya version and not enough space to justify two similar of these.Any photos of the interior? :drool5: :drool5: :drool5: :drool5: :eusa_clap: :eusa_clap: :eusa_clap: :eusa_clap: :occasion14: :yahoo: :danke:

Nice add Justin, Looks amazing, Very nice small touch with the steerable front wheels.

Baffles me that Minichamps can turn these out with amazing exterior detail, Then severely cut costs on painted seat belts and sticker dials.

You not tempted to take it apart and add a few extra touches??
