Its me again. This time I can present a beautiful 964, brought to you by the lovely people of QC team 12.

All windows are scratched, thats fairly normal nowadays, but the two big ones in the front window can house your finger nail. Oh, and the mirror glue:

I could just get new windows, but then my eyes rested on the lovely scratches in the clearcoat. Bonnet and engine lid are littered with them, and some on the roof. These are hard to take pictures of since they only show in certain angles, but here are some of them (at least 5-6 more on the bonnet alone). They are worse/more of an eye sore than my phone could replicate. I hoped they were just smears, but gentle rubbing with a damp microfibre cloth confirmed that someone cleaned the car with a rock. I didnt bother removing the car from the clam shell, so who knows what other features it hides:

Once again a big thanks to QC 12:

I have said it before, no more GTS/Otto, but this is actually it for me. I cancelled the Yellowbird(s), and instructed CK that I dont want a replacement, cant be bothered with this company anymore.

I've had a few problems with GTS also, but both my 964 RS and 991 GT3 RS had no damage. It's a shame their QC is this bad as they make some cool models! :gaah:

Yeah sadly you're not alone. My issues are mostly fixable but still unacceptable.

Grill under the bumper not glued properly (and some black paint missing...)

Ugly paint touch up:

Also the top of windshield was not properly glued (no picture)

Quality blessed by no other than QC12:

I have been very lucky up to now with GTS but like they say "the trend is your friend until it ends"...

Hahaha! I am sorry, Arnage, but I lost it when I saw QC12.

The grille I would just fix, same with the chipped black, those are easy. The horror at the rear window is auto-return for me though.

I got a 993 Turbo with a similar problem (that I never showed here).

Mine is QC12 too, guess they oversaw (kinda) the entire run. Mine was by no means perfect, with it's detached right mirror rattling around the box, but it was very simple fix so I can forgive them for that. Your examples lateapex & Arnage are very bad indeed and a couple of years ago they would have not been able to leave the factory without those defects being corrected. With the recent disapproval of GTS' quality and customer service, I felt compelled to make this:
