would I be able to do a wheel swap on a bbr 1/18 scale laferrari? particularly this one

I love the model but hate the blue wheels, I would like to change them to fxx-k wheels which look amazing on real laferraris.
Anyways I was just wondering if that is possible on this model?

It would be very easy to do. Nearly all resin models have essentially the same simple setup of a metal rod connecting both wheels.

I found this picture of a broken floor BBR LaFerrari and it shows they do also have this setup. All you'd need to do is unscrew the floor, there's looks to be hot glue around the wheelwell so remove this and they'd pop out, job done.

Just be careful when removing wheels from the metal rod, if the grooves are the crisscross pattern, just twisting and pulling will get them off. If they are are cut straight, don't twist the wheels to get them off, you'll end up snapping the hub, in this case step on one wheel and pull the other straight off, then step on the wheel that's still on and use some pliers to pull the metal rod straight out.

Yep, resin models are very crudely put together!

Once removed, I used a lighter to heat up the metal axle and then the wheel comes off easily.
