Imgur - Mobile Friendly YES | PC Friendly YES
I've used chrome on android for the mobile test and Chrome on PC. Note: Settings/ upload function may differ on different mobile browsers.

MOBILE

Once you've uploaded your images you will come across something like this. If you cannot find them, press the menu on the top left and select "images". Then you will be able to see and select what photos you wanna upload by clicking them. Make sure you have an account on imgur and signed in to see all your previous uploads!

Now click on the "link" area top left and select BB CODE on the drop down menu

Once you've done that, copy all the text underlined and paste them into the comment box on the forum and you're done. No other modifications needed or enter full editor mode.

Just make sure that at the front & back of the link, you have this 2 codes.

Code:
<br />
[IMG]xxxxxxx.jpg[/IMG]<br />
And that's it. Yeah seriously that's it.

PC/MAC Browsers

Once you've dropped and uploaded you will come into a page that reviews all your uploaded images. Hover your mouse to the top right and you should spot a menu. Click the arrow pointing downwards and select Get Share Links

Next, Click the blue Copy button for the BB Code and paste them into the Comment box. Done. No modifications needed or to enter full editor mode on the forum as Imgur already applied the IMG codes.

Flickr: Mobile Friendly NO | PC Friendly YES
Flickr does not have the proper sharing BB code option on both mobile browsers and their own app. Therefore it would be best recommended to use Flickr if you're on your PC, MAC and/or for your portfolio images since there is no size compression from flickr. Meaning you upload 1MB, you get 1MB.

PC/MAC

Go to your photostream. Hover your mouse on your image and you will see a film strip at the bottom of it. Right at the corner you will see 5 icons. Click the one below.

Once clicked, you should come across this menu:

Select BB Code and copy the entire link highlighted in Red and paste it into the comment box of the forum and you're done. No additional modifications needed to the code and url as Flickr already applied them. That's it. Easy ain't it?

For best viewing and don't suck the living hell out of people's data if they are viewing from mobile, best size recommended is Large 1024x683.

This is how it should look like once you copied the link and pasted it into the comment box.

IMGBOX: Tested only on PC with no account. This is alternative site if in the case imgur is down.

Select, and upload your images. You will come across a number of menu's. Only change the top menu "Content Type" to "Family Safe Content" and Start Upload.
Once you've uploaded, you will see this page:

Select "Full Size" (Important! If thumbnail is selected, you will only see a thumbnail when posted onto the forum) and copy all the BB Code links at the top right and paste it into the comment box and voila.

If you are using any other Photo hosting sites besides these two (except pb lol), do feel free to post a pic embedding tutorial as well.

Thanks for sharing this tutorial for those who've been having problems getting to grips with these hosting sites! It's always been Flickr for me, just sucks you can't post code from the mobile apps

That is the way I use Flickr. My only comment is that once I have the image in the thread, I go back and edit out the link data that shows up to the right.

Plus, I don't post the large image, I usually post at Medium 500 x 375. If you are posting multiple pictures, out of courtesy the smaller size, while still offering good quality, makes it easier to scroll through the thread.
