Damn - Was hoping this was a few months away! :nice:

Shape of the rear wing supports looks wrong though - Strange,as they actually changed it from the others, but seem to have put an extra angle in!

Looks OK otherwise.

Don't forget Mercedes pioneered the idea of a wing used as an air brake at Le Mans (and Norev have represented it here in it's upright position!). :giggle:
It will be interesting to see if Minichamps get it right on their version, otherwise a bit of cutting and re-positioning will be required......

Might just be a poor angle, it does seem that there's a bend lower down than is visible in the photo I posted before.

Oh come on Norev, you make the coupe as a opening model and the convertible as a sealed?

Yeah but this is only 55-60 so for that price I think it's fair. It's a drop top so as long as you can see the interior that's fine with me

Pretty much the price we pay for the diecast opening coupe here in canadien dollars, but still cheaper than Otto and GTS! It looks good from the pics tho!

Shame it's sealed, but the model actually looks very good! Pretty much exceeds any Otto and definitely Kyosho or Minichamps sealed cars,
judging by these pics. Would still buy the coupe though, because of the opening parts ;)

Can some of you give me your thoughts about Norev quality in general ?

I have never bought one and I am considering some models since I have seen the models that are coming.

Some Norev product is quite good - for those items that I own.
Many with opening features are what you would expect for the price - cheap plastic interiors and a one piece 'engine'.
Some of the more recent are sealed diecast, obviously from the same factory as the newer Minichamps stuff - but usually not as expensive.
On the other hand, I have their C197 Mercedes SLS gull wing, and it is astounding for the price I paid (€60).
Where French subjects are concerned, they seem to be accurate - I guess it's easy to find originals to work from.
So like a curates egg - good in parts...... :twocents:

The Ford Sierra RS Cosworth is out now, wheels look good. Interior is really poor! Shape looks ok.

Do you mean the door and rear window frames which make up the 'B' pillar?
If so you are correct, it should be body colour.
However, the headlamps look much better than the Minichamps version.
Now - we NEED an RS500!

Yep.

I think an RS500 is a must too, no doubt they'll do it, but not for a while yet.

Looks great considering we know what price to expect, and interior looks better than Otto/GT Spirit as well. This will be cheaper than Otto and better than Otto for sure. Having plastic windows instead of foils that are always wavy, badly applied with glue residue and what else is a lot better situation

*edit* wait, it's 100eur plus?

The Norev C9 (all variants so far) needs an extended splitter under the nose.....

Are there going to be other colours of the Sierra? Would rather have Moonstone than black.

I've seen a silver/metallic grey listed.
And it looks as though it will be the usual €70.
Apologies - make that €60.

It's not even a colour that was available on the real Cossie.
