Well then... not sure who this is marketed to. Maybe Alonso, Nakajima and Buemi will buy one.

Alonso probably have got one of these already. The regular 1:18 is being shown at Alonso's museum in Spain.

If I can get that group 5 Celica at a serious discount I will buy it.
It represents the only race the car actually won, although it was not a DRM round.

I wonder why, when the special is such a tribute to the driver, much like this statue was to Ronaldo!

Spark is very early with that Le Mans winner.
Normally they release those cars around July.

I suspect that this year in particular they haven't had to create new tooling - probably a very similar car to the 2018 version.

That DRM BMW looks stunning! Did Harald Ertl ever drive a car with a rubbish livery? If you only collected stuff he drove you'd have a gorgeous collection. (I'll admit it would be fairly niche!)

Spark have picked up a number of details specific to the Ertl Schnitzer BMW (probably in consultation with Raceland).
'Atmo' versions of the DRM 320 had exhausts under the drivers door on the left side.
Turbo cars usually had this exiting on the right hand side, and this is picked up on this new release.
What is interesting is that Ertl had use of two cars in 1978 (which continued when he moved to Zakspeed) and there were body work differences between them.
I tend to think of them as 'hot' and 'cold' weather options.....

According to the late Frank deJong web site, the radiators 'were moved to the front' on the subject car, allowing the rear wheel arches to be blanked off with aerodynamic covers.
The GS team tried this on both cars, but It does not seem to have been a success.
I wonder of Spark will consider the dramatic looking HAT car?

I saw this yesterday, Porsche 911 (993) Turbo 'Project Gold' Classic Series, the price is nuts! The least expensive one on eBay yesterday was €400 it's an LE of 300 pieces, so not super limited. It has a display lid.

It's a model of a real one off car that was made using all new parts etc.. but apparently is not road legal. The real car sold for €2.7 Million, with €2.5 Million of it going to the Ferry Porsche Foundation.

Porsche RUF CTR 1987 1/18. Initially I thought it was a re-release of the hard to find Yellowbird, but it's not, no vent on the rear wheel arches on this car.
