Hey guys, new member here!
I'm planning an upcoming modification project and wondered if there was a consensus on where to get the least expensive 1:18 Watanabe/Minilite/Panasport/trans-am 8-spoke style wheels.
A long time ago I'd heard the oversized ones from a JADA dub-city 1:24 240z were big enough to work in 1:18, but I don't know what size they'd correspond to (16? 17?)
I've seen some 1:18 minilites on ebay to fit on Ford Escort models, but generally don't like them because they have zero dish. The watanabe interpretations usually do.
Any advice is appreciated (I'm already aware that TK diecast sells resin ones but was looking for a cheaper alternative or more size variety).
Thanks!

Its really hard to find Watanabes in 1/18, for some reason, apart from the TK ones. The Jada wheels are fine if you repaint them (they have that ultra cheap chrome look) and are something like 15" in 1/18. They are quite wide too.

Thanks for the pics guys! If I understand correctly the TK ones are 16'' equivalent. I'll have to see if I can dig up a JADA somewhere for cheap. Loving the Ford and Celica. I'm surprised the ones on the celica are the JADA wheels TBH. Look so much better once painted.
If I manage to find one wheel I probably wouldn't have too much trouble casting some more.
