In this review I present you a 1/18 diecast car from Paragon, a mid-range premium brand that specializes in BMWs. The competition is harsh, though: Both Norev and Welly/GT Autos have made the F10 5 Series, although this one I am reviewing is an M5. Still, can this manufacturer hold their own against those offerings?

Pros:
- Nailed the look of the grill (didn't like the silvery slats on the Norev or Welly)
- No panel gaps between hood and headlights (like the Norev has)
- M5 has that muscly look compared to the leaner look of the regular 5 series
- 4 doors open, carpeting, defroster lines on rear windshield...
- great engine bay detail
- NO pegs on tail lights, not even on the lower rear reflectors! (the Norev does have pegs there...)
- fabric seat belts

Cons:
- Wheels do not spin properly, so you can't roll the model car forward
- Glue residue on every model's inner headlight corners
- Weak suspension makes the front wheels unable to properly hold the car's weight (slight camber)
- could have picked better rims (but this is personal taste)
- lower front air intakes are not perforated
- tail light LED design not as sharply and clearly defined as on the Welly/GT Autos
- trunk doesn't stay open (just my model?)
- no seat belt buckle holes (LOL! nitpicking)
