GT Sport
I stuck with the Gran Turismo franchise from GT2 to GT6.
But switched over to PC2 for this generation.
It had a better car list, track list, and most importantly, more realistic physics engine.

I didn't have a good experience with the first one so I skipped this one. I remember having absolutely no steering feel on pavement. Compare to iracing or assetto corsa, where the wheel is constantly dancing in your hands over bumps and cracks. That killed it for me.
I mod stuff

Can't really comment since I did not play the 1st PC, AC or iR.
But I've read comments of the 1st PC having snappy car handling.

I do think the road surface feedback is muted in PC2, but that might have to do with the feedback settings.
I'm months in and still tweaking my settings.
That said, feedback on what the tires are doing is great. Nice to feel the tire flex happening.

While I have yet to pick up PC2, I did play the first one a bit on PC and while good, it had some physics... issues at times with RWD cars. Namely the snap oversteer previously mentioned. Also the game in general had a lot of bugs and was rather overhyped in the end. Might get PC2 when it goes on sale either on Steam or PSN.

I did read about the snap oversteer. No issues for me on PC2. Maybe I'm just used to GT where there's no feedback and you'll just lose the rear when you cross the limit.
There is a problem getting it cheap, well at least for me. Now I'm debating to get the season pass when it costs more than the game.

I have it but not playing that much.
It's almost the same as pc1, just without some bugs.
I have it on x-box one but i'm not going to spend money to buy it on pc.
Just the rally cross is a bit different.

It just doesn't feel that good as assetto corsa with my wheel, the feedback isn't there.
graphics are nice, like driving in the rain.

Speaking of racing in wet weather. Noticed that grip is much higher than in GT. Since that is the only thing I can compare with.

I've been playing this on the PC the last few weeks and I love it!   As my first racing simulator I'm not in a position to compare it to others, but I am getting very addicted to it.  I've a long way to go before I feel I'm decent at it, mind.

Likewise, still trying to figure out car setups.
Especially tire temps and pressure.

I have it on PS4. Doesn't look as good as on PC. Still looks pretty though, in the snow or the changing weather conditions are nicely done.
But based on screen shots from GT Sport, I think it looks better than PC2.

I don't mind that.
Do I need a PS plus account to do that?
I am still playing single player now.

Wow! I have the fastest time at Spa in a road A car on PS4! Too bad we can't filter cars or individual categories. Road cars are lumped with track day cars. My timing is buried behind all them Ginetta's.
