Real car won the SPT3 class in 24h Nurburgring 2016 - see the photo below.

And here is the model. It is made by Ebbro and and it is very detailed as you can see from the photos:

Nice models, congrats on the new addition!  These Ebbro 1/43s are great value for money; they have so much detail.  I hadn't bought one for at least ten years - when I went through a brief JGTC obsession - but picked up the GT300 champion Toyota 86 a while back and was amazed by how good it was.  The little details are seriously impressive, stuff like the wing stay on that WRX is just so intricate.  Nice 1:1 too :occasion14:

Thank you for your comments.

Also note (in the last two photos of the model alone) the metal cable connecting the side bases of the rear wing. I have not seen such a detail in a 1/43 model. I have chcrked photod of the real car and it is there too but it is easily overlooked because the cable is very thin.

:agreed: That's what I meant by "wing stay", it probably doesn't translate very well though   The Toyota 86 has all kinds of struts and supports around the diffuser, I have no idea how they put these things together (web photo):

The back of Toyota in the photo looks more sophisticated than in the STI.
