Hi all,
here I am again with a mod project on a Lancia Delta, again with Grifone livery, I really love it.

Last year I've bought a Lancia Delta HF Integrale 16v by Sunstar, it was a Martini Racing car with some defects to the decals, so I decided to use it as base for this project. I started a deep research of pictures of the real car and after some considerations the final choise was to reproduce the car driven by Piero Liatti at the Rally Sanremo in 1990, both because this offered the best variety of pictures and the car itself was the same which won the rally the previous year in red Martini Racing livery, driven by Miki Biasion. After that I've drawed all the logos needed and asked to FFSMC Production to help me with professional printing. When all was available the real work started:

1st step: All the original decals have been removed

2nd step: Starting with paintjob. Black base under, than a carefull masking to paint over the gold color:

The original model had a unique air intake on the roof, which had been actually introduced in 1991, so I removed it and installed a double intake like the real car using some aluminium foils.

After a couple of coats of gold and one of clear, here is the paint result:

Next steps:
  • Upgrade of the interiors
  • Application of the decals
  • Upgrade of the wheels using my 3d printed Speedline Montecarlo rims
Hope you like it!!!

Hello all,
I've just realized that I've never updated this thread although the model has been finished some time ago, so my apologies and here are the images which will bring you to the end of the project.

After the body painting I've added all the decals on the body and then upgraded the Sunstar interior with a new aluminium painting of the floor, new fabric seat belts with PE parts, floor decals to replicate kevlar effect, metal pedals, 3d printed spare wheel, kevlar decal for the battery cover and the seats rear cover. Here are the pictures of these steps:

And here is the final result, with new 3d printed Montecarlo wheels, brake coolers for the front wheels, night lights pod, mud flaps, PE fasteners, new antenna
