Aston Martin has finally revealed its new flagship, replacement for the Vanquish S, the DBS Superleggera.

I'll let the true fans read the specifications of this 5.2-liter V-12 twin turbo below, but focus on the performance: 715 hp, 664 pound-ft in torque, capable of 0-100 kph (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds, zero-160 kph (100 mph) in 6.4 seconds and top speed electronically governed to 340 kph (211 mph):

Now the beauty shots:

Honestly, I expected it to be even more special. To me, it looks like a DB11 with an extra AMG kit :dunno: And the wheels are way too similar to the NSX.

I think it's spectacular!  That colour seems to really suit the flagship Aston Martins, it's very similar to the lovely Vanquish Zagatos.  Nice to see that these second-century Astons have a bit more of their own identity than the cars of the last 15 years, which all ended up looking a bit similar (V8V, DB9, Vanquish/DBS/Virage...)

I think this is absolutely stunning! It's not hard to see why Aston are often voted as the world's coolest brand :drool5:

I watched Mr JWW's video on this (https://youtu.be/divzeUm9Tlc) and I instantly saw that the particular wheels on this variant looked a bit like the ones on the black Top Speed McLaren 720S....but I think the spec he reviewed it in is just perfect for the car. That paintjob is to die for!

I expected more, but then the car it's based on isn't really a looker (in my opinion) and that interior looks like some crap from the 1980's!

F**k you Photobucket.

I like the fact that this DBS is more visually distinct from the DB car it's based on than the last one. The previous DBS was basically a DB9 with a bodykit, a different bonnet, and slightly more prominent front wheelarches.

This one has the same basic shape as the DB11, but is different in the details - many of the body panels are new.
