I may be picky but a model at this price could be done better. The racing strips are all messed up..

It was an eBay buy and the guy offered a decent partial refund so I was happy with that. If it wasn't for the poor quality stripes the model would be great. I have a 1:1 of this car so I'm hoping the LS Collectables version will be better!

Tbh I'd expect perfect stripes from these guys since they don't make any opening panels. The stripes should be level with the blue, not printed on tampos Posted Image

You could always consider overlaying the original stripes with new - white - stripe decals.
A very sharp pin will burst the trapped bubble shown, followed by a dab of decal softener.
I know this should not be necessary, but if it's difficult and/or expensive to find another.....

That's not a bad idea. I would have to match the color perfectly due to how hard it would be replace the front stripe. I don't have a pic, but Vipers have a "NACA" duct on the hood that is very hard to stripe. I'm not confident enough to attempt it lol
