I have this model too, its a good one from HWE, especially with the 2014 prices..it was like 100$cad :)
Will look forward to the other pics, as for those 3 pics they look great, each of them is kinda unique, on the 1st one the yellow color really pops but the 2nd one is also very nice as it shows the lines of the car, the 3rd one looks to me like a drawing of the car, dont know why

The F12 has beautiful lines all around it. I find that it really shines in yellow even though traditionally i would say red for all 12 cyc Ferraris. I bought my first in dark royal blue although the colour makes the car looks elegant but the darker shade of blue hides most of the details and i eventually swapped it for a red. Still yellow is best suited for this particular car IMO.

The f12 came  out a few years before my dad past and he really like it and I think it is my favorite modern Ferrari, though don't be wrong its styled cousin, the 458 its a proper beauty in its own right.  I have been thinking about this car a lot lately by coincidence.  I bought the Hot Wheels Foundation model on a whim and loved it so much I ordered the HWE version, but now I am having some Ideas what to do with the Foundation model, but enough of my ramblings.

Your off to a great start Dirk, this model is so striking from every angle and has such great curvy lines to drool over that it lends well to your profile lighting very well.   I agree with Ironman, the first two are really nice, though the third is too dark, you are getting like a green cast in the shadow on the car and so it looks off  or muddy.  You could also try cropping the picture down some, you may not want so much black above the car, make the car bigger in the frame, but only something to try..it looks very good already.  Looking forward to see what you do next with it Dirk. :occasion14:

For me, F12 looks the best in yellow. I think first picture is awesome ...keep it up :10: .
Thank you so much my friends!!! :danke: :danke: :danke:
Your warm comments and also sharing your thoughts on the F12 are very welcome!!! :yahoo:
I will add some pesonal comments on the F12 when I take an excerpt of this thread to my member show case...

Special thanks to Simon&William for the friendly criticism of the 3rd picture:
You're fully right - the image looks somehow artificial and doesn't meet the level of the first two.
I noticed this too but struggled to improve the pic to a satifying result.

This pearl yellow color turnes out to be quite delicate:
If you're lucky (like I was with the first two pics) it comes out of the camera with this bright shiny look and a slightly golden touch. However if the light or the angle differs only slightly you might get another tone of yellow - more pale or bluish or even shadow areas turning into purple (with very low light). PS offers many tools to manipulate brightness, contrast and colors and I spent some time playing around with many of these options. However the result always turned out looking artificial and I was not able to get an impression out like the first 2 pics. (BTW this is also the reason why I still need to invest some effort in the remaining pictures...)

But your rightly articulated comments encouraged me to give it a second try. While still struggeling to get a satisfying corrected color out of PS I went another road this time and reused parts of the 2nd pictures which I darkened and fitted into the 3rd pic while smoothening the transition areas.

Now the result is much closer to what I originally wanted to show:
An effect similar to the Uhlenhaut pictures but in yellow...

Thanks again for helping me to improve, guys!!

It took me a bit longer than expected but now the processing of the remaining F12 pictures is finished - here we go:

edit: Pictures of the F12 have been re-brushed - see below...

Looks awesome!; the re edit on that one is the way to go and the additional ones all looking great. And I am not just partial towards the car, because as I said it is my favorite modern Ferrari, the images hold up very well.

@Roman:
Not really - most of the pics came out of the camera with a bluish touch and while improving the appearance of the yellow color this effect even increased. Some pictures got so bluish areas that I needed to correct this however I have to admit that I was too lazy to do this for the whole pack. Shame on me...

Yep - available time is always the bottleneck.
I use to have a stack of unprocessed pictures so the choice is between further improving a already processed pic and starting a new one... :occasion14:

Let's stay with the color pearl yellow - there is another supercar which looks amazing in this color: The Lamborghini Aventador.
(OK, the Aventador looks amazing in every color!)

The AUTOart model has almost teh same color like the yellow HWE F12 - but the overall impression is completely different. While the F12 is very classic and elegant the Aventador looks much more agressive and powerful...

Enjoy the pics:

I think most collectors have opted for Arancio Argos. I was very close to this color too, but finally I chose azzuro thetis roadster. I think I like lighter shades for Aventador ... the yellow fits perfectly, great choise :10:

Thanks a lot guys! :danke: :danke:
BTW with the Aventador I could improve a little bit my poor PS skills in handling this challenging color - maybe I'll rebrush my stack of F12 pics...

The shots  of the front view of both the Aston and Laferrai are dream stuff.  Some angles on the yellow F12 are great.

Thanks VarioCam+!
Meanwhile there are many versions of the Aventador but my favorite still is the original LP 700-4.
Having said that I have to admit that currently I feel seriously tempted by new AUTOart LB version in metallic red... :drool5:
