Love the Evo 9, so much modding potential. I kinda wanna get one but not for the dr evilbay prices lol. I've come close to buying a 7, but I'm holding out for a 9.

Yeees. Although I was hoping to use a Hobby design 4G63 engine kit on it, but they were discontinued sadly. I found a broken 7 on local classifieds for either $60 or $80 cad, can't remember (like 30-40 gbp). I'll be modding that eventually. Same place i found this 9 without a box for about 120 gbp, which is more than i would have liked to pay but they're hard to come by. If anything, I might get that new diecast evo by whatsitsname brand

This is a Hakosuka I stole from lateapex. Haven't changed anything on it cause it's basically perfect. The wheels are from an Ignition model.

And now with the other one he also made. Fun fact, it was the only model I kept when I sold my entire collection. Eventually looking at the detail made me want to get back into models - not to collect but to modify.

Those Hako's are fantastic!

That's a nice price for the 9, I want to try and get one for around that price too.

Aah yes, the Super A Evo 9, almost forgot about it. I was interested in the grey one (my neighbour used to have a grey Evo 9 MR FQ-360 with Ralliart wheels which I absolutely loved) but after seeing pics, it's not doing it for me.
Maybe it's the washed out pics I don't know, but it has a sort of... Norev look to it. Which would be fine if it had a Norev price.

I'll wait till I see some proper pictures of it though before writing it off.

well it's just the old autoart mould isn't it? It doesn't look so bad, although clearly not deserving of the price, which reflects current high prices of everything rather than the quality of the model. Apparently now it'll be released under the Kyosho brand as well?? There was a post recently

Is it an Autoart mould though? I don't know, you got me intrigued with that so I started googling.

I found an article on them here with better pics:
https://read01.com/z...ml#.W_eViy6nw0O I was right about the pictures above making it look bad, it looks quite good here.

And I found this comparing some parts to an Autoart but can't understand much of it with translate.

ooo yes those look much better. Surprisingly I really like the white one. It looks like it's still the autoart mould but they're just using finer materials and detailing here and there.

Saw that on a FB group earlier today - that date must have recently been added as it wasn't there when I checked last week. Either way I'm happy as I need an aerial for my R390!

Top models Wes and so glad you kept these beauties. The detail in the Engine bay is out of this world. If Exoto made a XS version it would probably be like this, simply superb. :10: :eusa_clap: :eusa_clap: :eusa_clap: :eusa_clap: :eusa_clap: :drool5: :drool5: :drool5: :drool5: :drool5: :drool5: :yahoo: :occasion14: :danke:

Very nice mate, I prefer the R34 decal set on it compared to the slightly different one's on the 1:1.
Swap the plates over if you can, the one with the larger bolt should go on the rear.

Here's that Z432 I modded a while back. Really pleased with how it came out. The wheels look a touch too big, but the engine came out exactly how I wanted it.

Used this as my inspiration, although the wheel setup looks even more aggressive here. I toyed with the idea of taking off the clear headlight housings on the Devil Z and installing them on this one instead but don't want to mangle the Devil

Believe it or not but they're 16". I think the chrome barrels and the stretched IG tires create the illusion of them being larger than that

Not a JDM but I do love the Blackbird. I also found this nice Speedhunters article about an almost-Blackbird from Japan.

"Inspired by a Japanese Legend"

http://www.speedhunt...sche-930-turbo/

I'll be taking a few notes from that build.
