Not really sure where to ask this, but I have an Exoto Lola T70 that has an issue with the magnet to keep the front cover on. It is the little magnet below the white part under the windscreen (rectangular piece with the little dimple in it) doesn't want to connect with the magnet on the front cover so it won't stay on.

Any suggestions on how to remedy this? Thanks.

Hey Jon, This might sound really stupid, But have you thought of emailing Exoto?

Or, Is there any way you could fashion a small magnet yourself and sort of fit it on there?

I don't have this model, but have used mini-magnets on some of my customs.  They are pretty strong.

Not familiar enough with what you are trying to do, but here's a picture of what I am talking about.

Can you work out why it doesn't connect? Is the panel misaligned or is there a gap between the 2 magnets? If the magnets are touching and won't stay together, then they may need remagnetising.
