Why do some variants or many variants of BBR 1:43 that cost around US$200 but the door/cover engine/baggage can't be opened? For this reason, is BBR still worth to buy?
Sorry I'm still new player to this. Thxs

Why for the US$230 BBR door can't be opened?

I think you will find most 1/43 scale models tend to be sealed including those high end premium one. There are 1/43 models where engine bay can be opened I think Minichamps or Kyosho made some of those before? Autoart also attempted with full opening 1/43 models many years ago but they only ran for a very short time.
I think the "worth buying" question is very subjective. Those 1/18 BBR (or other high end makers for that matter) sealed resin models going for $400 to $600 have no shortage of buyers so there are people who appreciate them.

Agree with the above said. Worthy or not is an individual thing but there is also a limit as to what is worthed. For example, I buy those sealed BBR, MR, Frontiart resins for $400 but I would never spend $1000 for a sealed D&G model that is no better than BBR, etc.
