Hello, I just recently purchased this model off eBay, and it needs a decent amount of work. One of the front wheels has broken off; I still have the wheel with rotor attached, while the caliper is still connected to the vehicle. Is it possible to get that caliper back around the rotor and reattach the wheel so that it looks passable at least? It doesn't seem like there's a simple way to do so with my bit of fiddling around.

Also, is there a preferred product/brand for repairing paint chips on such models? Or will a standard automotive touch-up paint pen do the trick?

Finally, does anyone know of a way to source replacement wing mirrors and rear spoiler for this model, or AUTOart models in general? I have already checked the autoartspares website, and they don't have what I need. I found a thread on here from 2014 naming a representative for the company that could be contacted for such replacement parts, but I didn't want to resurrect it or contact them if they weren't still in said position. Thanks for any help or suggestions!

Sadly spare parts for it will long gone. Your only chance now is it to see if someone has them, or buy another one and use the one you have as spares or for another project.

F**k you Photobucket.

I think a defect free example of this model mint in box is worth 50-80 Euro. Personally I would just go for a mint one, should save you a lot of time and effort.
Feel free to have a look of my collection on DX.

^ Yep. These never really took off and can be had for reasonable money. I would never be happy with a model if I knew it's full of defects plus the difference in time and money invested simply doesn't make sense.

in fact what I would do is sell it as is, and then use the money towards a mint example.

Yeah that's what I was leaning towards after seeing what you all said.

Could do that I suppose. Need to find some inspiration for it!
