Has this car been produced, been and gone, or is it a forthcoming pre-order?

I'm finding precious little about it on-line, so am consulting the powers that be.

I was fortunate to have been granted a visit to Mazda North America Operations' R&D facility in Irvine, CA, and there sits the real car.  The muffler's longer than my leg, and bigger in diameter!

Hoping to find this car in 1:43 and can't seem to find out much of anything about Spark's offering (past or future).

Thanks!

Cheers,

Richard

Looks like itís currently a pre-order. You could try dropping them an e-mail, they do generally reply - although Iíve only ever mailed to ask whether theyíll be making certain models and they send a pretty standard reply for that!

Thanks.  Not shown anywhere on their website.

10 days after sending Spark an e-mail and nothing back.  Does anybody else have any insight?

Wouldn't recommend ordering it from here, but it's still listed as a pre-order without a due date at Diecast Legends:
https://www.diecastl...rs-74-1-43.html

That suggests it's at least a few months away.

Yes, there's this site and one other I found in France...but not a peep elsewhere or even from Spark.

Seems that Spark has created a line under the banner of Hachette.  Anybody know the details of that line split?

But, happily, I do have a Hachette version of this RX-7 coming in the mail.

Hachette is a different company entirely, they make partwork magazines - either stuff with those large 1/8 scale models where they send you a few parts every month, or what seems to be this case, a smaller scale model every month.  They're OK for the low prices they sell at, but nowhere near Spark quality.

Spark will be resin too, Hachette don't make resin models.

F**k you Photobucket.

Has the look and feel of a Spark since arriving.
