Love the color choice Rob with the Black body color and the teal interior. Keep up the good work and can't wait to see how it turns out.

Wow liked that interior color! And also the molotow pen, it's really amazing as a chrome look.
And what is the color code for the interior?

It is actually the base coat color that goes underneath Lamborghini Artemis green. I use DeBeer automotive paints (made by Valspar)

UPDATE 8/01/2020

More work today as I start final assembly of this model, starting with all the side mesh and front bumper mesh and fitted the horse shoe grille surround
Posted Image
Mesh under the wing glued in and then the wing legs. These are actually backwards as I was trying to match the pictures that came with the kit, but these legs are wrong and need some modding
Posted Image
Rear body infill under the fin glued in and the engine assembly glued in too
Posted Image
Rear mesh glued in place
Posted Image
Side radiator pieces glued in, then the black mesh in front of those
Posted Image
Painted the back side of the wheels matt black
Posted Image
Photo etch EB logo glued on and exhaust outlets glued in
Posted Image
Dashboard glued in place
Posted Image
Underside of the third brake light and the inside of rear tail lights painted in matt red. these parts with the kit are in really clear resin, very hard to get right as bubbles in the casting can show
Posted Image
Rear lights glued in place
Posted Image
Door trims glued into the shell
Posted Image
The wing legs are missing an important part, the hydralic strut that holds up the back of the wing. So I drilled a tiny hole in both wing legs and glued in some wire that I cut of a paper clip. Worked quite well
Posted Image
Rear wing blade glued on
Posted Image

Posted Image
Silver and red rear brake light decal added and a Chiron sport number plate decal added too.
Posted Image
Foil Bugatti emblem added to the front mesh. Model is really coming together now and not much more to go.
Posted Image
Should finish this up in the next day or so. More to come

UPDATE 9/01/2020

Back on to this build to try and finish it up as I am wanting to start me next custom Lamborghini. Painted all the brake rotors and center trims of the brake disc's too
Posted Image
Glued the centers on to the disc's ready to fit them to the body
Posted Image
Wheel stems glued onto the body
Posted Image
Disc's, calipers and wheels glued on. Still have to paint the center caps black and add the EB logos on them. It would have been easier to fit them before this step, but I forgot. DOH
Posted Image

Posted Image
Painted the divider panel that goes in between the interior and engine bay, this also holds the rear vertical windows which were glued in.
Posted Image
That piece glued in to the body shell
Posted Image
Interior pan fitted into the body. I did not glue this as it is a tight fit and held in by the floor panels that are screwed in. That way if I have any accidents in final assembly, I can simply pull it back out.
Posted Image
I think these are rear exhausts to be fitted into the rear diffuser
Posted Image

Posted Image
Floor panels screwed on
Posted Image
I then glued on the photo etch front pieces on the head light clusters. Nice detail in the kit.
Posted Image
Just a few more bits to do and this one will be wrapped up. More to come. Thanks for looking. Cheers

Whatever method you use for replicating carbon brake discs they turned out fantastic, it's all coming together nicely, congrats!

Thanks Tamas, I tried a new method on these brakes. I just used Tamiya spray cans, first I painted the disc's in flat black, then I dry bushed silver on the disc's by dabbing, then finished of with holding the disc's at arms length away from my body and spraying another layer of flat black. This is a patchy coat as only over spray is hitting the disc's rather than a full cote. Worked fairly well I think.

Thanks for sharing this, Rob, I have never tried using another light layer of black on top, it makes sense as they turned out very realisric!

Thanks Tamas. Always learning new things and happy to share.

UPDATE 10/01/2020

Time to finish up this model today and I started with fitting the clear head light assemblies into the body and then fitting the clear lenses.
Posted Image
Next I painted the center caps of the wheels black, and then when dry, I added the chrome EB logos that came with the kit
Posted Image
I then glued the windows in with Microscale Kristal Klear. I am having much better success with this glue for windows. Not perfect, but windows are my weakness.
Posted Image
Tape removed and holding firm. This glue is water based, so it is easy to remove any excess glue
Posted Image
Door handles and side mirrors glued on
Posted Image
Wipers assembled and glued in place
Posted Image
Model was mounted on an old MR alcantara base that I had and glued on the supplied front name plate. Model is now finished, and I am pretty happy with how it came out. Thanks for following the build. On to the next one!

It is, for sure. Most Bugs tend do be dual-tone or flashy colors  outside and modest inside. Especially not with the crazy color matching the interior, calipers and engine covers which is quite a cool touch :drool5:
