Welcome to the DiecastXchange annual Tuner Competition 2019.


Entries in member name alphabetical order.

BaseGTR - R34 GT-R S-Tune

Exterior:
- Carbon Top secret bonnet,
- Carbon Voltex wing and potentially carbon bootlid,
- Potentially an Autoselect Carbon front splitter with canards,
- Potentially a top secret carbon diffuser,
- Nismo sideskirts and rear spats might get done in carbon,
- Potentially some Mine's carbon mirrors,
- Rear window sticker and wiper delete,
- Maybe delete the Nismo stripe and associated decals,
- Front number plate delete and Japanese plate at the rear,
- Bigger metal burnt tip exhaust,
- 18" or 19" wheels possibly Volks/BBS etc. With a big brake kit.

Interior:
- Sports steering wheel,
- Racing seats,
- Roll cage either full or half,
- Potentially a stripped interior with floor pan showing.

Engine:
- Either a Tomei or Top secret RB26 with upgraded components everywhere,
- Either a big single turbo or twin turbo set up.
- Bigger strut bar,
- ARC intercooler.

K.Customs - Audi A4 DTM

- bastardize the body with with some form of body kit. At the moment the idea is to transplant the TT RS front and rear bumpers onto the A4,
- adding wide arches. Depending on the outcome of this, it might change slightly.
- full repaint.
- slight attempt to detail the engine.
- new wheels (to be decided on).
- interior might be swapped to a road car version, but this will be dependent on whats happens with the body.
- some slight detailing to the chassis

   pcars - Nissan R35 by AimGain


- New color (Midnight purple)
- Fix the model
- New blue exhaust effect.
- New rear license plate
- New color wheels (TE37) right side

   TopGun - Lancia Delta HF Integrale




- Removing original Repsol livery
- Eventual repainting (to be evaluated after removing decals and polishing the body)
- Polishing of the windows
- Upgrading of the interiors with floor paint, PE parts, new spare wheel, fabric safety belts, battery, cables, etc...
- Fixing the dashboard position, steering wheel needs to be higher
- Upgrading exterior aspect with PE parts
- Drawing and printing of the new Martini decals, rally Sanremo 1992 winner Aghini/Farnocchia
- Detailing of the engine compartment
- Detailing of the underbody
- Customized display case base in Martini Racing colors, with celebrative plate reporting car name, rally data, crew data.

    Upgrades - Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren



- For sure a wheel swap, brakes and calipers
- Lowered suspension
- Complete interior change and colors with a couple off moveable parts
- Carbon fibre were needed
- Front and rear lights detailing
- Number plates front and back
- Small engine detailing as the engine is highly detailed
- Using and replacing some screws
- Ridox bodykit
- new exhaust

VarioCam - Mustang 2016




- Rear spoiler added
- Clubsport roll cage
- Bucket seats added
- Carpet added
- Shelby super snake motor added
- Wheels and brakes changed
- Darkened front ligts
- Badge removal
- Painted the spoiler bits blue
- Painted the two front fenders black
- Gave the wheels camber and lowered them,fully functional rotatation and steering.
- Oild catcht can
- Strut added
- Headers added

Please check every members build threads that are linked in the above post, all the photos of the completed builds have been posted.

Please take your time to make considered votes as a lot of time, effort and work has gone into each build.

I would like to thank everyone for taking part this year, there has been the highest number of finished builds and I hope the members who have created these models inspire others to modify a model or two of their own and maybe also have a go at this competition themselves next year, there will be another competition next year and details will be announced early next year.

I loved to follow all these amazing builds here and have to admit that I really admire the level of professionality and craftmansship that you guys show here!!! :rock:

At the end my vote went to Giovanni because of the absolutely incredible details he created  - this gear knob, insane!!! :omg:
