Definitely an unique look. Maybe the lines can be thinner with the fine end of a toothpic?

It needs trimming a little bit, but as the decals are just dry i'm afraid to cut them now haha.

I'm not keen on the dashboard inserts on the model, they look like a child has drawn on them. They look pretty funky on your actual car though!

F**k you Photobucket.

Right. Been a while but i found some time to work on the M3 a bit and now it's almost finished :D

First of: had to polish the hood as there was a little paint error:

Posted ImageDSC_0464

Now that's a finish :O
Posted ImageDSC_0467

I had to paint the TE37 wheels. I was looking for a Hyper black finish. Don't ask me how, but after a black base coat, a very (VERY) thin layer of  "chrome" paint, a clear coat and then a thin layer of regular silver paint (wut?) I think i got it!
Posted ImageDSC_0460

Now i had to start rebuilding the model..

(This dust, ooft)

Almost there!

Now.. there was a problem.. i ordered the TE37 wheels with brake disks, but forgot to order calipers aswell... also the wheels were a bit too small, they didn't fill the arches well enough. :( Had to go for 19's.. My bad.
So, as 1 day later there was a model car show in Holland which i wanted to showcase the model at, i ahd to go for classic BBS RSII wheels which i had from a previous build.

Posted ImageDSC_0474

I actually like them.. hehe.

So here is the model next to my almost finished Daytona Violet M4. Enjoy!

Love what you've done on that M3, both exterior and interior! :eusa_clap:

The level of finish you manage to achieve on your paintjobs is insane! That is how I wanted all my models looking like! :drool5:

Wow, this is coming along very nicely. I love the interior trim and the exterior color is very nice. Seeing the Porsche example is insane.

Can you tell me the paint code?  I want to paint a radio controlled car body this color but the company I normally get my paints through doesn't have it on their list

The point of this build is to actually try this awesome color on an E46 coupe and build it the same way as i'm builing my real E46 coupe. Which includes:

- Atlantis Blue OEM paint
- Carbon fiber roof
- Cinnamon leather interior
- 5 Spoke wheels (not decided on the wheels yet :D)

So this model started of as a pretty boring Kyosho E46 M3 with some paint marks on the hood and doors.
Posted ImageDSC_0340 (Custom)

Took it apart and immediately started to paint the seats and door trim in the new cinnamon color.

I've made another bimmer in Atlantis blue already and i had to see how the color looks compared to the flashy atlantis blue.. Gotta say i was pleasantly surprised it looks this good!

Posted ImageDSC_0467 (Custom)
I couldn't wait so i painted the body, doors, hood and trunk already. For those of you who don't know me, i work with real automotive paint with a proper spray gun to get the best, orange peel free result possible.
I couldn't do the clear coat yet because i had to wait for the basecoat to dry so i can paint the engine bay and roof black before applying clear coat.

I'm in love! So far i've done a lot of things already but there's a long way to go:

Black out engine bay
black out the roof
Correct errors on the seats
Blackout seatbelts on the seats
Clear coat
polishing
Sorting wheels
And everything else i forgot :D

My friend, beautiful work! I am highly interested in the interior color/paint - can you tell me what it is/where you got it/and how it's applied? Best!
