This is as basic as a wheel gets, but I have always liked the SSR MK1. The problem is that since its so basic it looks silly if you just spray silver on this resin insert (I didnt even try). Its really cool that Uli is finally making loads of JDM inserts, and in 13" too recently. These will go in the 14" alu wheels he also offers. Ideally this would be an actual alu part or photoetched, but I decided to try something else.

Bolts removed and surface flattened.

Cheap circle cutter, its alright. I also bought a really cheap one from China, that one is in the bin.

Self adhesive aluminium sheets from T2M, circles cut.

You have to be extremely careful with this material, I had to redo a few times because I got a nail onto the surface, or basically anything sharpish hits the surface with a minimum of force. It does allow some force with cotton buds, so I really rubbed them down with that.

Masterclub bolts, nice stuff and VERY cheap compared to metal stuff. If I were to use T2M bolts for this it would cost something like 30 euros just for the bolts on 4 wheels, lol.

I painted the bolts at this halfstage, so they could be pushed in with some glue and the excess stems cut from the back when dry. I used Vallejo dull aluminium + Citadel Nuln Oil.

I finished them off with some long lug nuts from TK painted the same way.

Looks better in person since my phone really picks up the patterny thing in the foil, but looks pretty cool to me. The only real issue is the centre hole, I need to find a way to get that smoother.

That's quite a unique wheel, I have never seen them before. That circle cutter looks interesting
