First arrival for 2020, and YES! Real detailed diecast is back. 1/18 Almost Real McLaren P1 GTR 2014 Pebble Beach. Haven't had a real good look yet, but from what I can see, it looks very good, and fully opening, unlike the AUTOart model. Got it off ebay from Megamo for US$173.00 which was cheaper than AR retail price of US$199.00

First arrival and last 2019 purchase, the Norev Bentley Continental GT.

More of it here:

Also got a LED-lighted showcase to have a comfy place for my rotating "chairman" of models on my desk, lol

Yes, it made me want to get the model. I've yet to have a green 1:18 and this one is a perfect fit.

Really, I buy a sealed model and people complain it's sealed, I buy an fully opening model and people complain it's not detailed enough. No middle ground, eh!

Sure, but at least it's diecast. You all know I have composites and resin's, but it is nice to get a modern supercar in metal again. I will add a few little details to the front compartment and the engine bay to dress it up, AR should have done that, I agree, especially after the first Land Rover releases that were mega detailed

Ever since I saw one of these up close a few months ago I had to get a model of one as soon as one became available, so here is a Gemini Jets 1/200 diecast ERJ-175 in the new United livery:

The reflection from the tabletop makes it look as though it's rubbed along the side of a crash barrier!
