Hey all, I am trying to find a relatively decent and relatively cheap 1/18 model of the Lamborghini Aventador. By cheap, I mean less than $100. From what I've seen, there are the really cheap options from Motormax and Maisto for $40, but I read the Maisto is actually 1/19 (how is the Motormax one?)...and then there are the Autoarts which sell for $400+ on eBay. There doesn't seem to be anything in between. I know Welly used to make an Aventador but those seem to be unobtainable anymore.

Am I missing something?

...oh also, I don't want the dark orange one.

Kyosho makes an SV for close to $100. It is sealed, unsure how good they are.

Welly/FX makes one too for less than $100. I have one in matte pink, but there are other color choices; white, orange (I know you don't want), matte black, matte green and matte purple. I would go with white.

Oh my bad. I just found some Welly Aventadors on eBay. Black or white.

I don't know if I want to get a sealed/resin model - I have zero experience with them.

Aventador from FX models is very good, it´s the same as Welly but carpeted and with a nicer box. The shape is very good, almost as good as Autoart minus the working wing and nicer details

The Motormax one is pretty meh (also taking color into account), even for Motormax standards (their Reventon or Pagani Zonda Conqie for example are better).

The Maisto (rebranded Bburago) one is 1/19 scale.

As others have said, Welly is your best bet but it means you usually have to buy them from chinese sellers and expect to wait 2 months until it arrives.

Apart from that and at lesser quality (mostly in form of wheels) but better than Motormax, is the Rastar version:

lambodiecast.com has some in-depth reviews of Aventadors from most brands:

Mondo Motors: http://www.lambodiec...p?item=model362

Motor Max: http://www.lambodiec...p?item=model683

BBurago: http://www.lambodiec...t.php?b=Bburago

Maisto: http://www.lambodiec...st.php?b=Maisto

Personally, I'd totally get the Welly FX if I could find one. But they're rare around here, so I've got the NEX in orange instead.

i'll definitely vouch for Welly each time when it comes to modern Lamborghini models on a budget. Sadly Huracan and Aventador are probably their last 1/18 line up. I like their Aventador so much that I now have two of them
