I haven't been on DX in some time with a lot of personal issues taking priority, as well as my decision to wean myself from this hobby, but I still appreciate great modelwork of all kinds. I've been watching a lot of YouTube videos of radio-controlled model planes of all eras, types, sizes and scales with joy and wonder. My appreciation for the creativity of those R/C fliers led me to sample a vid featuring one of the tiniest scales (previously 1/43rd was the only sub-1/18th scale I even deigned to notice) and I was blown away.

This first video is a record of the home conversion of a Busch Mercedes W123 sedan in 1/'87th scale (which comes with working head- and taillights, for slightly less than 20 Euros!) from a static model to a running, R/C car, truly amazing in this scale. If you want to skip the construction details, jump to the 5:00 mark in the video to see the incredible features of the completed model:

In this second video, see a whole miniature town filled with working radio controlled 1/87th land and water vehicles - all home-made!:

First time I've been on the site since I created this thread, so I apologize for the long delay in replaying, my friend. Things haven't really improved much and at the same time the whole world seems to be on its way to Hell in a handbasket so I appreciate your kind words and return the sentiment :occasion14: :occasion14: !

Did you ever check out those links?
