Here is the Artisan Spirits version I'll be picking and choosing styling tweaks from.

I also like this wing, so I'll try to replicate that

The interior is pretty much finished. Just need to touch up paint here and there and fit the seatbelts

I was inspired by this spec, with the obvious absence of orange as I donít think that would have gone very well with the yellow exterior. Overall the theme is very similar to the convertible 458 Speciale

I also started blacking out all the chrome bits

And tried on these wheels. They are 21Ē Advan GTs by TK diecast. I may use them or I may use another set I ordered from MIYminimodels

Love the white seats, cant go wrong with that. Wow, those 21's don't look that big on this model. Look forward to what you go for.

Thanks Rob! The rest of the interior was repainted as well (Tamiya AS-8 navy blue). And yes I was pleasantly surprised at how well the 21Ē wheels fit. I think itís cause the car already looks like it has a wide body kit. I originally bought them for an R35 GT-R but theyíre too big for it

21'' wheels looks fine, but going bigger than 21'', then it will start looking off.

Okay having finished the interior, I turned my attention to the engine bay, which is a very sad place.

This is what the engine block looks like with the cover removed

Posted Image

Posted Image

Meanwhile here's the real thing with the cover removed

Posted Image

So lots of work to do there. I decided to remove the rest of the engine bay covers. Undecided if I'm going to keep them.

Posted Image

And this is where we're at now

Posted Image

And this is where we need to be, which is a stock engine with the Boost Logic air intake kit fitted.

Posted Image

Lots of work to do to build up the engine bay and the block itself

The front end is now completely blacked out and looks soooo much better than stock.

Posted Image

Meanwhile I started on the engine bay. I have to build it up using styrene sheet and putty. Itís a complete disaster. I bet 90% of work is in the engine bay on this model

Interior looks great. You sure do have your work cut out making that engine and engine bay look like the real car. But this is an area you excel at, so it will turn out awesome i'm sure

Appreciate the faith Rob. I got some evergreen styrene shapes, namely L and rectangular shapes and that'll allow me to build up the chassis/structural beams. It's a bit intimidating to be honest

I like those Vossen's, really suit the car. Sure the wheels were late but at least you got them, Eddy can't ship mine due to covid restrictions from his country to Australia.

Wheels done! Realized I need bigger brakes so I guess there will be another order soon from TK.

Being black wheels, they do hide detail quite a bit so I snapped some dry fit pics in the sun
