I don't normally buy something in 1:18 this "Loud", but the Cayenne Coupe intrigued me. The Lava Orange and the pleated seats just reminded me of the classic 911. I found one reasonable priced so I decided to get it.

The big-elephant-in-the-room here is the fact that this Norev release is sealed diecast. But it has 2 advantages over normal sealed-resins:
(1) Molded window, no wavy-thin material
(2) Steerable front wheels

The paint and proportion is great and interior looks good from the outside. The carbon fiber application on the roof is perfect! Overall I'm quite happy with it!

Here are some quick shots for reference if anyone is thinking about getting one:

I'm quite impressed with Norev for making such a beautiful model, it's so detailed inside and out. Also, I like the colour combination on the exterior, the two-tone red and black.

Thanks! It actually looks much better in person. I'm using an old iPhone to take these pictures so they're not the best.

Hey Stefanus! Congrats on adding this one!! :eusa_clap:  II's really nice to have normal windows..but, I wonder what will the opening regular release will end up costing? :twocents:  That said I am going to try and hold out for the opening release.  What makes no sense to me is, why did Norev make a sealed and opening version of the same car? :dunno:
This orange is brilliant, and looks good in your photographs :eusa_clap:  Congrats again on adding it Stefanus!! :occasion14:

Thanks Dave :occasion14:
The orange actually suits the Cayenne Coupe very well and the pleated seats just complete the package.
Yea I'm curious too as of Norev's strategy and when the opening version will hit the regular edition markets.

Ha, looks like Norev had no strategy...I think that Porsche probably called the shots here on this one. They probably realised that they wanted an opening one as well.
You're Welcome and Cheers Stefanus!! :occasion14:

I forgot to add that unlike other SUV coupe's (except the GLE Coupe which actually looks nice in my opinion.) This really takes the cake in terms of styling, it just all blended well together, and that side profile is just MWAH! I feel like this is what the normal Cayenne's supposed to look like!

Yes, looks like they cut up a 911, took its roof and welded it to Cayenne's bottom half.
I love this profile too! Looks very natural and un-forced.

Yes! I agree, unlike the BMW X6 which just looks ridiculous in my opinion.

Yup... BMW can learn a thing or two from Porsche about the grace and beauty in simplicity of their designs...
