It says so under my name. I love ugly French cars. I only wish I could buy more.

Of all the cool French car models, I could not pass on this transporter. I keep seeing these massive model haulers and the idea of having this tiny little DS turned hauler was too cool to pass up on.

The model sits very low and looks to go on for miles, but is actually pretty reasonable in size. So much so, I thought an old Matra F1 car would fit on the back. And it doesn't. Saying that, it does not fit in the garage. So, I had to take it outside for some shots. Usually not a big deal, but still recovering from surgery and even this was a massive chore. I can't wait until I can walk again.

There are a few small details that give the model enough character to not me too boring. The color is perfect and would match a couple of my models enough to have fun.

Wow! I already found the normal car itself unusual.. This is on the NEXT level! Really funny to look at, but it's also so detailed! I love the headlight design and spare wheels in the back!

This is such an odd car! What's the history on it?

Not too sure. I looked it up a while back. I have seen it in 2 and four door versions. Jochen Mass drove one with a cobra on the back to Leguna Seca. Might be the coolest thing ever. Not sure if it was ever used for a race team.

Let me state the obvious. What an interesting creature this one is! :yahoo: Jon, I too love me some quirky French cars :eusa_clap:  I have boxes of old Solido and Norevs that I haven't shot yet. i need to get to that.
A Citroen DS21 hauler. I personally should be ashamed that I never knew that this one existed. So, thanks for sharing it with us.  What can I say, but such a brave collector, for loving the unusual and underappreciated cars in our world.. BRAVO!! :eusa_clap:
Congrats and Cheers on this conversation starting center piece!! :occasion14:

It's another one for the crazy Citroens from back in the day :yahoo:Had it not be sealed and if I had room for it, I'd go for one for sure. Almost did anyway, but then the world went wonky, so... :gaah:

It is one of the craziest cars I've seen in a long time! I do love a DS and the fact the model exists makes me happy. It's such a weirdo!!

F**k you Photobucket.

At first I wasn't too sure if I liked it or not, but it's so eccentric and yet so cool, I can't help but to want one for myself now! :drool5: :eusa_clap:

Thank for posting these very nice shots of it, especially considering you're recovering from surgery! Also, nothing beats outdoors and natural light for photos, I wish we had better weather over here, and some privacy in my backgarden so I could do some outdoors shots of my models.

It is all about the smiles. If I get a model, I want it to bring some bit of joy. And looking at this, with another Citroen on it, is just one of the happiest models I have.

I am a bit tired of spending a ton of money on models. I bought a few Solido and Norev models lately and they are so much fun. I think my next order will be a bunch of quirky French cars, or anything else a bit odd. I hope you share yours soon. I need the help to know what is out there and what is good quality.

Yeah, and the scale is accurate. It is all about the same size as my other F1 models. It just happens to be VERY WIDE. I think only the 50s and 60s F1 cars would actually fit on this.

that certainly is an eye catcher. Love the sheer madness behind it.

I wonder how the 1:1 handles, given the FWD, the length, and the wheels of different sizes. Must be... 'interesting :-)

Nice buy :-)
