Hi all, took some quick pictures of the W124s i have in my collection so far... The MCG grey one and the Norev's convertible came late last year and I am thoroughly impressed with the Norev merc. Couldn't believe it took me so long to get one...

Love the trio! They look awesome together! I love how the top comes off on the convertible.

Great couple of 124's. One of my all-time favourite Mercedes series. I am still hoping someone will make a W124 Coupe with the orange indicators.

That autoart is among the best detailed sedan from Mercedes. Shame autoart didn't went for the E500 :drool5: . Nice collection there, I hope norev someday makes that E coupe.

Thanks! I could have go for more i think.. Ottomobile made the AMG version of E500 a while back if i remember correctly? Was on the fence on either the coupe or the Norev convertible because I prefer the hardtop coupe more but I do like a pre facelifted W124... to be parked next to the Autoart's E320.

Thanks Marteen and Jandro. I think that will happen but most definitely going to be a sealed resin or diecast.. Unless Norev pans to make one  I was actually waiting for Norev to make the hardtop coupe so hesitated to get the cabriolet at first. Plus I always missed out on the sales and i was fortunate enough to catch this one when it was on discount late last year.

Agreed, I personally think the W124 series is the most handsome majestic looking merc ever. Not as big as the big brother W140 and it is suited to be a perfect daily driver. Would definitely consider one as my daily driver if i have the opportunity to find a decent working one.

fab trio, Jazzy! I have the AUTOart in silver too. I was admiring it only the other day. Who wrote the W124 Bible Guide you have there? I wouldn't mind looking one up :-)

Awesome!! :occasion14:
The AutoArt E320 is still my favorite. I own the purple (Bornit) one and it's the one car I'll take to my grave.

That being said I also love the base model 300D MCG !! :drool5:

That is just a nice site to see! :yahoo:  I love these type of posts. It's really pleasant to see these together. Now only if Norev would make a Coupe to park next to the Cabrio. :occasion14:

You know speaking of the purple E320.. i could have bought it alongside with the silver one from Biante years ago at retail price. :bawling: And i completely missed an unboxed but otherwise mint bornit version of it on ebay years ago. It ended up for less than $40!! And came with 1/18 perspex case. :gaah: :gaah: :bawling:  The MCG model is a absolute stunner if you squint your eyes when admiring it from the front because the headlights details look off but other than that the overall shape is absolute spot on. I chose the 300D version because I wanted a version featuring the classic 3 point star wheel cover.

Thanks David. You are absolutely right. I certainly hope to see a coupe version of it. Fingers crossed they will consider making one in the near future.

Ah yes thanks Marteen for the reminder. Almost forgot about the blue coupe released by Ottomobile a while back. I won't mind that at all actually but i guess it was just missed opportunity for me and the last copy got sold before i ordered anything from my usual dealers.
