It's a long weekend, so time to drag out my diescasts that need fixing. From loose exhausts, detached trim or bumpers divorced from bodywork, now's the time time to get the glue out.

Job one. I don't know why, but the tyres on my Kyosho 131 Rally have gone a bit scuzzy.

My Norev CX has a few issues, too:

The M5 is one of many diescast that need mirrors to be re-attached:

random pic.. while arranging the BMW, I put my camera next to the CX, and the display showed an image I really liked. So I snapped it :-)

Yep, I've also got an evergrowing, diecast related to-do list. That, on top of some much needed home maintenance (leaking taps, broken toilets), which I keep avoiding. I think I know what I'll choose to do first :nice:

I've got a couple of model boxes that need the windows re gluing in places and a couple of models that need some bits re gluing.
I never get round to it :( Even now I think about them but something else always turns up.

F**k you Photobucket.

I'm waiting for paint to cure before masking.
Even more boring than watching the grass grow.
Although I don't need to mow the paint job....   :giggle:

Today I finally decided to fix / repair a Tecnomodel Mythos Ferrari 512 S Le Mans race car I had bought several years ago. For anyone who knows these models, they'll know that they sell out fast and then prices go nuts on them.

I bought this model before CMR had decided to make them. Their ones have affected the re sale prices on the Mythos cars, but in my opinion the Mythos ones look a bit nicer.

Anyway, when I got the model the front screen had come off, the rear view mirror which sits ON THE TOP of the car had come off and the photo etched wiper was bent.

Some nice simple jobs. The wiper actually fell off once I touched it so that annoyed me. I used good old trusty Revell Contacta Clear to re glue the parts and amazingly I didn't mess it up. It looks factory fresh now. I'm not a novice to repairs but if I can put off fixing models, I will lol! I generally hate working on them.

Today was a success ;)

F**k you Photobucket.
