Sure is hard watching your childhood legends pass on, but he has and we will all remember different ways.In my collection however, I can't believe I don't have any cars that he ever drove, and he drove quite a few !
So tell me your favorites that he drove and you own or would like to own. Also I would like to know whats still available and what may become available in the future.
I like that Lotus 18 he had that had the side panels missing, I think Tecnomodel had one, but I don't know how long ago. I wonder If its available anywhere any longer?

I've seen people trying cash in on his models already. I hope that no one buys them!

For me the CMC Mercedes 300 SLR 722 car and the BBR Models light Green Ferrari 250 GTO are my favourites of the cars he drove. I have the Mercedes, but never got the Ferrari.

F**k you Photobucket.

I have his Hot Wheels Ferrari 250 SWB in blue, which is really nice, although I need to replace the wheels which are a weak point.
Anyone ever remove wheels from any of the 250 SWB versions of the model?
I was hoping the spinners are functional.....

Have the 722 300 SLR as well as a W196R streamliner and a Maserati 250F - All 3 amazing high end models by CMC.
CMC also has the Maserati Tipo 61 „Birdcage“ (unfortunately not part of my little collection).

Additionally I have a really nice little Cooper T51 by SCHUCO in dark blue.

I have the 722 SLR, the Birdcage, and that Cooper - the Cooper was ridiculously cheap as they couldn't shift them at the time. All three are great models.

Carmodel.com are listing the Tecnomodel Lotus as a pre-order, available from May 31st:
https://www.carmodel...th-pilot/128197
Just be aware that Tecnomodel make very few of their models and this will obviously be in huge demand, so pre-ordering is a very good idea if you want one.

There was a version without a driver, which was exclusive to Diecast Legends - that may have been released already but was definitely sold out through DCL.

Saw some chancer on eBay asking just under £1000 earlier for a signed Moss Maisto 722 car. What a compete knobhead!!

They're also oblivious to the fact that the same thing, up for 1/4 of the price also signed with a COA from GPL (the one up for £1000 doesn't even mention one) hasn't sold.

F**k you Photobucket.
