Last year i was visiting Hamburg, Germany the main reason for that was a concert with Avantasia.
But i needed something to do before the concert so i decided to visit Miniatur Wunderland.
If you have not been there i strongly recommend it, it is truly breathtaking, you could easily spend at least half the day there.
It is a miniature world in 1:87 scale with citys, cars, trains, boats and planes and almost everything is moving around controlled by computers.

But enough talking and on to the pics:

Thanks for your comments, guys.
When i was visiting i was able to see some of the work going on there, one thing that is going to be amazing is the Monaco miniature complete with the F1 race.
That is not up and running yet.

That is all i have from Miniature Wunderland.

Thanks for watching.

Thanks for sharing Morgan!! :eusa_clap: :yahoo: I have watched countless videos of this place! I almost went there for  a day trip in the early 2000s, but sent to Strasbourg instead as I had early plans the next day. I will get there one day, as i now live closer to Hamburg. :occasion14:

I've watched many videos of this place, but your photography is superb! Thank you for sharing these with us, Morgan - I saw details in your pics that I never noticed in the videos (like aliens in the offices? The Millenium Falcon queuing up for takeoff in the airport? Small planes maneuvering through the mountains?). Outstanding!
I just want someone whose baggage goes with mine [from "Rent"]...

Thanks for sharing, this is a different world altogether. Folks behind this are no less than modern day sculptours During my last visit they were working on the Italy section, results are very impressive .
They were planning a British theme too,.

For those visiting Dublin (after covid19) a trip to the Cyril Fry railway museum and miniature layouts is very worthwhile.
In it's original location inside Malahide castle it was a great place to bring various youngsters on a rainy summer day out.
Contains many of the same kind of features as the layout at the top.
The museum also has an unbelievably rare MetroVick demonstration locomotive model (around 1/18th scale I would guess).
