What are you using for that trunk weatherstripping? Looks great, nice detail.

Yeah I agree about the stock exhausts. Looks like a vacuum cleaner

Engine bay update.

it is a bit a boring engine to look at, a lot of plastic. The details are nice but they don't really pop out.

A look with the engine in the car and thinking what to change. I just want to spice it up a bit. You can see on the side you look right to the inner side of the fender.

Starting to spray the engine bay black and then clear coated it. I also made from styreen the sides so you don't see the inner side of the fender anymore.

This is the under part. If you look from the front, you can see through it and see the floor.

I made some pieces to guide the air a bit better and close the under need part.

I like to go round the engine bay, starting in the above left. This part is from a Maisto Mustang Cobra R. I want to use the batterie. In front the stock from Team Caliber.

Fast forward, finished the left side. Tubes and hoses and a more detailed batterie.

The stock radiator/intercooler.

The back side.... just a flat base.

The thought was, use a single fan or a double. Those are parts from a Burago, can´t remember from which cars.

I went for the double fans, detailed and hoses attached. ready to go in the engine bay.

With some PE parts on the sides and on top, placed behind the stock radiator/intercooler.

The hose in front is to guide air to the air box.

Stock.

First upgrades...

The idea.
More to come,
Giovanni

Continue with the engine compartment.

I drilled holes for the brake wires.

Under need I put a PE piece which is meant to be a brake pedal, and put some metal wires through it.

Lead some wires towards the brake reservoir.

The real car has some hoses here as well, I think it is from the aircon, not sure, but I replicate it.

Finished all all around the engine, also some wires on the fire wall.

This was a complete surprise for me. Before I started this project I was looking for an engine from Autoart, I thought it would be more detailed. But to my surprise the engine and gearbox is made of diecast. The weight of it is impressive. I love the time when those manufactures made a complete engine and not only a top bit.

Clear coated the valve covers and not on this picture, the supercharger.

Detailed it with sparkplug cables, fuel lines, detailed the front of the engine, added hoses and also a dip stick.

Ready to go in, that's for the next update.
