Is there a pricing strategy for Autoart new releases? I look at all the new releases on websites and seems prices vary massively from one release to the next for no good reason. Is there a tiered structure they follow that anyone knows of?

I think the strategy is to source their plastic from the same place Tiffany gets silver.

That is funny!😀
There should be some guys from Autoart trawling collector groups and forums to gauge the excitement of new announcements and price them accordingly. These silly prices have been seen ever since there has been an explosion of groups on platforms such as Facebook

I wonder what user "Lambo" might have to say about this?

The community already did this (loudly) when AUTOart announced it was switching to composite.

To date, our strategy has not worked. :giggle:

I haven't bought any composite models.
Not necessarily because they're composite, but because unlike the past the subjects don't appeal.
Endless releases of supercars and hypercars with differing body colours and wheels do nothing for me.
My most recent purchase was the Skyline silhouette in metal.
And before that the reduced price 911GT1 and Lancia Delta S1.
I am aware they have released some Audi rally cars, but I already had sealed Otto at a fraction of the price.
As for trawling groups such as this, the composite move must be achieving their expectations.
Otherwise they would have abandoned the concept.  :twocents:
