Hi guys, i became a member a while ago but didn't notice this "introduction" topic. My name is Ali, i am from Brazil. I always loved scale models cars, had a bunch of them when i was a kid in the late 80's early 90's. I started buying them as collector just two years ago. In fact it all started again with my beloved 1/12 Ferrari 288 GTO Tamiya i bought in 2012; but it stopped there because my old place didn't have enough space for a full collection, then my first kid arrived...

So things really became serious in late 2018 when i moved to my actual home. Besides the old love for scale model cars, i discovered that collecting car miniatures is some kind of therapy, a escapism from this weird times we are living...

In the moment i am only interested in fully opened models, with a preference on older models which have more interesting details than the modern cars with their almost totally covered engines. The only sealed models i purchase at the moment are F1 cars. I don't know about the future...

So that is it, it's a real pleasure to spend time here with you fine folks, hope this new year bring fortune for all the members here and the forum keeps going as good as it is!
