Not sure what they were thinking when they made this car. The rear stance completely ruins the look, I was really tempted on getting one till I noticed how awkwardly low the rear sits compared to the front.

The original versions of this tooling were done by Ertl over 10 years ago. They came with slicks which raised the rear of the car up. Look up one of the old ertl models on ebay they look better, albeit they are factory Super Duty cars as opposed to Royal conversions. It was a nice idea from Autoworld, but like most of their models just a repaint of an old model that was not really improved upon very much.

You could also do a wheel swap including rear slicks and it would look way better, even missing the 8 lug wheels.

You must be able to lower the front no ?
Obviously you shouldn't have to but that would correct it.
