Added a rare Porsche to my collection which i had been hunting from many years. The Autoart 1:18 Porsche 924 Carrera GT 1980 in red. The model is very detailed as we all know about the previous generation Autoarts. On to the pics.

I have the same one, and like you I only bought one quite recently. I think it's great! Classic AUTOart. I'm not a 924 fan really, but for this one as I always say, if you know, you know! It's so much more than a 924!

I like your other models too. Great stuff!!

F**k you Photobucket.

Please feel free to check out my 1/18 collection HERE

Thank you Craig, like you mentioned i was not a fan of 924. But wanted to add it to my Porsche theme, now it is starting to grow on me and now i trying to get to know its history.

Love the non-911's from the past :drool5:  I have the same red 924, the white 944 and a brown 928, all by AUTOart.
Maybe they're not 'real' Porsches (fanboys... ) but they're definitely real sports cars.
Dream car top 5 (in random order):
McLaren F1 - Lamborghini Diablo SE30 - Ferrari F50 - Bugatti EB110 - Ferrari 550 Maranello

Big congrats, I love the 924 and the 928, but I think I like the 928 better and it looks so good in white like the one you have! :eusa_clap: :drool5:

I love this 924, it looks super classy and agressive at the same time. Autoart was on top of their game at the time, like the textured seats with red stripes, was simply great. And it didn't cost usd 300...

I love the 924/944 series and this along with the 944 turbo are one of their best models. Surprisingly while the 944 Turbo's price has gone through the roof in recent years the 924 CGT is still somewhat affordable. I enjoyed viewing those photo studio grade photos you have made. the white 928 and Schuco 934 are absolutely brilliant as well.

Agree with you RSQuattro, those were great times when Autoart were really on top of their game.

Thank you jazzy426. Agree on the prices of 944. I also see that 914 is quite rare and tough to find now.

Ah yes the 914. A somewhat underrated model by Autoart. I am glad to have bought one long ago too. Absolutely love the details on the 914/6 and they are indeed hard to find now. Perhaps same can be said about the Revell 914 as well but I believe Norev is looking to make one in the near future, potentially based off the already very well made Revell mold.

Umm im not sure to be frank. Just speculations at the moment. I do hope it will be an opening diecast but never know that Norev might takes short cut on this and make it a sealed one.
