I ordered the 1956 Chrysler New Yorker St Regis in gold/raven black and while the car is in great shape, it seems like the white top wasn't included in the kit. Summitracing can hardly be blamed for this as it was a sealed box and all. No idea if I'm going to get a partial refund or if I'll have to return it, or if they can send me the extra part.
You have ny sympathies.
I bought a Spark open top Ford GT MKII recently, and one of the jacking points is missing.
Since the model is sold out (CK) I don't want a refund.
I would be concerned that buying elsewhere would makes things worse.
I need to see if I can get hold of a thrashed or broken down Shelby for parts.
I sometimes think of the song about the worker stealing car parts from the production line.
Turns out it was included in the box but it was intelligently hidden in a hollowed out compartment with a white paper covering it. I had a look again and it was there, should've known better.
