CudaJeff, since you collect "unofficial" cars,  :giggle you better start hunting for one of these, as only 504 are being made! Retail will be $74.95.

Here is a pic of the sample that was posted by "Doc" at the Pub.

I wonder if with the popularity of the Challenger Concept, that a VP movie remake would not be too far off.

Where is it written that the more diecast $$$ equals a better diecast?

:lol

I was waiting to see a picture of it before making my mind since I already got 3, but I think it will be VERY nice next to my Highway 61 1970 VP Challenger.

Thanks for the news :cheers

I doubt it since a remake was made not so long ago (1997) with Viggo Mortensen (Lord of the Rings) playing Kowalski....and it wasn't a big hit.

I also doubt it, the Camaro Concept is better plus the fact that Chrysler isn't doing as well as they'd like everyone to believe.

I may get this despite the fact that the end of the movie blows I never liked death endings.

You must hate a lot of classic movies!
John

Driving an automatic and thinking you're a skilled driver is like playing Guitar Hero and thinking you can play guitar.

Serious collectors don't buy budget models? Hahahaha...that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard

Didn't they do a remake of Vanishing Point a few years ago that was almost identical to the original, but with different actors? Are they going to make this version in real life or is it just to tease us?  :feedback

I like the classics just not the ending.  Viggo Mortensen played Jimmy Kowalski in the 1997 remake.  I've seen the original Gone in 60 a bunch of times.  I've seen Bullitt a bunch of times.  I do have the Dirty and Clean VP Challengers from 2002.  I also have the Bullitt Mustang and Charger.  Even the AUTOart 2001 Bullitt GT.
