I sold one hood to my friend TMJTOYS. I just sanded the bare resin sprayed it with etch primer and painted it. I still need to add gold stripes, but it looks ok. I definately need to sand and prime with good primer before I think about painting them. I just wanted to see how bad they would be without any work.

They're ready anytime. I just have to prime them. I'll most likely do that monday. I am also going to make other year mustang hoods.

How much for your current hood that you are making up?  Let me know if you are going to make a hood like my budy Wayne's.  Like I said, I have a 2000 Maisto Cobra R that I could take the hood off of and a 90's GMP Mustang that you could use to blend the two.  Just let me know.

I was thinking around $15 for the resin hood in primer. It's a lift off hood because it's too hard to make the dogleg hinges from a mold. Velcro works really good to hold it on. As far as the other hood, I can make it right on that hood and keep the hinges there. I can make that hood for you as well.

That wouldn't be a problem to make. I may not even have to make a mold. I can probably just make it right on the hood also. Or I could make a mold of the top of the hood and mold it onto the foxbody hood.

You can send me a message and we could go over details if you're interested.

I just wanted to see what the hoods look like on the cars. I still have to paint gold stripes on the black shelby.

I do all kinds of hoods. Just mustangs seem to be popular right now, and they make soo many different ones for them in 1:1 . Here's a pic of one I did for my 70 camaro. I also raised the cowl hood on my 68 camaro.

Holy %^*&!!!!  Those hoods look AWESOME....how much would you charge for each one shipped to Baltimore, possibly 2 or 3 depending on what you are able to do.  Top 3 of my collection I'd like to get the huge cowl for would be:
-69 Camaro from ERTL American Muscle.
-'70 Nova SS from ERTL American Muscle.
-'82 Camaro Z28 from Sunstar.
Let me know what you might be able to come up with......Thanks.

BTW....that Camaro of yours looks great...right up my alley.

Thanks. I can make cowl hoods for all three of those. Did you want them all the same size-tall like the one in the pic.? Since I don't have all those models to make the hoods out of, you would have to send me your hoods and I will build the scoops and get them in primer. Then I would send them back. I get $15.00 to make a your hood like that or the same for a hood in resin if I already have one. What ever it cost to ship your hoods here it should cost the same to ship them back. If I could give a discount for having 3 hoods made I would, but the work is the same and I'll have the same amount of time in each of them. I've already made a hood for someone and got it back to them safely. LOL. I just got 2 more hoods in the mail today to make so I'm not going to run off with your hoods.  :giggle If you're interested just let me know.Thanks.

Oh, here's a quick engine pic in the camaro
And one in my nova

I will send you a message.

Diecastcity... I can make those. The only problem with the wing is I need a car to make it to even if I don't mold it in. Maybe let me know what car and make and I'll see if I can get one to make it and then it should fit yours.
