This is SunStar's superb version of the remarkable Continental from 1958. Here, it's in a gleaming Seneca blue hardtop form. This one is the latest version of this car from the Platinum Series, who've already released convertibles in top-up and top down forms.

On this edition, the hardtop roof seems a bit low but overall that becomes mostly a minor point given all the many positives of this wonderful diecast replica. The paint is smooth, even and deep and the various features are exceptional. The shelf and display presence of this gorgeous behemoth is certainly overwhelming, as was the real car. The huge Lincoln V-8 engine, the amazing interior and the many cool details make this one a lot of fun to look at.

I really think the Americans had it good, their cars, clours and engines. When compare to what we had in Europe at the time its like comparing the stoneage to the renaissance. Licoln will always be rememered as the car the preident was shot in. But its still a good looking model

Is it a car or a boat?  https://www.diecastxchange.com/forum1/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif Interesting model indeed ... and of course: :giggle:

That's a great color, Mike! Fantastic pics!

Driving an automatic and thinking you're a skilled driver is like playing Guitar Hero and thinking you can play guitar.

Serious collectors don't buy budget models? Hahahaha...that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard

It's a Land Yacht! Posted Image

These were the golden days of American cars with character and your images capture that as always, Mike. The top does look way low, though.  Posted Image

They're coming out with some really nice vintage '50s stuff. Your photography really does it justice. I see this one as a recent arrival on the Scale18 site this week.

That thing must be huge!  https://www.diecastxchange.com/forum1/public/style_emoticons/default/dizzy.gif

The Lincolns of that era looked much, much better than the Cadillacs, if you ask me. Accurate or not that low roof looks good on there. I'd love to see this model in black.
