Wow the Neo Jensen is fantastic. I love the European classics with the US engines. The Isos, De Tomasos, Jensens etc.. are so alluring. How does Neo rate as a 1/43 model manufacturer?

Thanks Simon. Neo are for me one of the best mass market ouit there who have had a knack of producing popular models that the others have not yet brought to market Mk2 Scirocco, Mk1 Jetta, E39 5 series and M5, E28 M5 and various others to a high standard. I can't get enough of them even though they are the best part of 50 golden a pop.

You should see the Interceptor convertible i've got - a beauty from Neo

The concept Lambos, Bitter CD and Lotus 340R impress me greatly Andy. The rear spoiler artrangement on the Porsche 962 is very unusual too. The diversity of your 1/43 collection is most captivating - how do you display them all?

Thanks Simon. They are displayed in wall mounted cabinets or varying sizes but as yet i don't have enough cabinets to display them all. And possibly not enough wall space either.

Some stunning editions there Andy. Zonda, Bugatti, all very nice, but it is the Alfa 155s that impress me most. Furthermore I wish someone would release an accurate 1/18 model of the Aston Martin V8 in Vantage,Volante and VV POW spec

Its why i collect both scales. 18 for halo cars, 43 for the sheer variety

Thanks Simon. I see you have an eye for the most accurate and of course its HPI again
If they made 18ths it would be a bad day for AUTOart
Don't know why Astons don't get the full works treatment rather than the more budget end - never understood that

So many 1/43s the mind boggles Andy. Have to say though that I am most jealous of the Lotus Carlton though. This and the Aston Martin Virage Vantage are my dream 1:1s.

I know that 4 of these trick Vauxhall Omegas reside in Australia, though whilst they are down on power compared to many of our current Holden Special Vehicles, are far more special and exclusive.

Keep the pictures coming mate - some beautiful models you have there

Thanks Simon. There are quite a few 1/43s in my collection and don't worry i'll keep them coming....slowly but steadily

When the Lotus Carlton first came out i remember coming back to work one day to find one parked outside the office. The sheer presence of the car back then was enormous. I went in the building and said to the security guard 'have you seen that outside etc etc, who's is it?' and this chap who was sitting in the lobby piped up that it was his. Conversation ensued and the outcome was he took me for a little spin. I was 18 at the time and it was along time before i went quicker than the Carlton hurled us down the road.

I'd buy one tomorrow if i had the space for it.

Didn't realise that they made all the way down there. Thought they had all stayed in Europe. Very occasionally you see these about, usually in the summer but i have come across them in places like the supermarket car park used as a daily driver. Everyone you see is immaculate
