Well that was a long snooze!! :welcome

Looks like you're right Tony, I'd better post a picture, or you'll never get there - or worse still some future thread necromancer will resurrect it when we're all dead and gone... :10:

Ok, you bought a Lamborghini charging bull statue, the umbrella you pictured keeps the birds off the statue.

I have no idea why some online magazine would rate it the worst ever something though Posted Image

NOOOOOOOOO! :coolpics: The bull and umbrella are not what I bought at all!!!  They are a cunningly clever clue that i thought would help you along your way!!! :wavetowel2:

OK, as MCH worked out, the bull does represent a lamborghini....and as you commented, that would not fit with the scale dimensions that were quoted....

THEREFORE, perhaps the umbrella is the main clue - and you're part way there with your observation on its function???   :icon_scratch:

That's got to cost you another go......so that's just FOUR left!!!!!

I think If I carry on like this I'll soon work out the answer MYSELF!!! :10:

Oops, sorry Kostas, I missed this post.... :coolpics:

However if it were a 1:18 keyholder, then if in 1:1 it measured 1.1m x 1.1m then i think I would never lose my keys... :10:

So coz of my mistake, and the craziness of your answer :wavetowel2: you'll not forfeit a go!!

So still FOUR left fellas....SURELY you must be able to work it out from here!!!! :icon_scratch:

Nope! :giggle: I certainly don't think anyone would say the Gallardo is the 'worst in the car business'

You've almost got the bull Tony (actually - a freebie clue - if you refer back, MCH got that) but at 1.1m x 1.1m it's actually the umbrella I'm after...

THREE.....and I win....   :hope:

I PM'd STI as follows:
OH CRAP!!!!  I’ve been rumbled AGAIN, and in sight of the winning post!!! :gaah:

Congratulations STI, your superior deductive reasoning has scored you a ‘Bulls’-eye! :10:

So that’s it then..??? ..... Hell no!  :giggle:

(it’s great to be able to make up the rules as I go along!)

What it means is that you have qualified to answer the winner’s question – I’m sure you’ve already got a good idea what that might be, but all the same, as there were 2 remaining questions to go, you’ll be allowed 2 goes at it!! :giggle:  :giggle:

Of course the question is, ‘Which Lambo??’ Posted Image

Would you like to post your answer on the thread and scoop all the glory??

to which STI replied:

STI, on 14 February 2011 - 12:33 AM, said:

Ok man your game your rules :giggle:
And i'll just tell u the answer here, i think it will be easy ( or do you want me to say which die-cast brand?)

".....the 1:1 has been described in a leading online car magazine as 'the worst in the car business'...."
so it is definitely for the murcielago roadster

So my 'cover' was blown...however in the interim came...

In all fairness, though STI got there first, surely credit must go to mart0203 for also working it out!!
Then it's CONGRATULATIONS all round to STI and mart0203  Posted Image  Posted Image Once again ole' Eddy has been pipped to the post!! :gaah:
So here you go guys, collect your virtual pints!! :occasion14:

Indeed my 'Mystery item' was a 1:18 resin Murcielago Soft-top, ? by APM....

So thanks to all those who took part and well done to our winners, indeed I hope those 500+ silent observers also had fun but consequently had their brains strained!! :giggle:
