Are you going to also use the AMG monoblocks from the C36 model car?

Yes. There are going to be three different AMG monoblocks and one Brabus monoblock S wheels. That would put the count of Mercedes Benz wheels in my catalog at 4. For now. Later the C36 and the one from the picture will be made alu rim and different offsets. But at first I need to make the resin molds. I am casting their tires too, so at least three more sets of tires will be available. They should all be in the shop by end of next week.

Ouch...how'd that happen?

Well,....................that is my method of finding out how they are attached to the axles :occasion14:
The good news is that this gave me the opportunity to take off the other two I need in perfect condition.
At the end of the day two $100 models just bit the dust for the cause.

Ahhh, I see.  Yep.  "Gotta break a few eggs to make an omelette."

Making any C63 or S63 variants?

Love the concave and slight bronze-ish tint.  Could be my computer screen.

ADV-1 appears again.    :occasion14:

Yes. The three AMGs are the ones from UT's C36, the ones on the picture from AUTOart's pace car and the S63/C63 from AUTOart.
I am making them with an adapter system and that is why it is taking longer.

Just wanted to let you know, the C36's Monoblocks are too small for most aftermarket applications. If you can make a bigger set, that would be AWESOME!!

Latest news.

The AMG wheels found on the S63/C63 are ready and so are their tires. What I am working on are their adapters. There is going to be a choice of three.
One would be a rather universal application - a solid axle like on Mattel models. It can be cut, sanded, drilled etc. to fit your needs. I'll make them longer, so they can be adjusted.
The second adapter will be the "Maisto ring", which I will also make longer than usual, so it could be cut/filed to needed size according to application.
The third one,.........well I need advice from you guys what it should be.

Here are the wheels with the tires

I also made already the Brabus Monoblock S wheels. The situation with them is identical to the AMG wheels above, with the exception that their tires are not quite ready.

From the centers of both of those wheels I will make sets (6 pieces each) of round emblems/centercaps from white metal. They will be thin and could be used for hood/trunk and caps for wheels. White metal - because it can be polished to chrome like finish and is easy to paint and pick up the raised detail by just rubbing off.

Also i am working on AMG disc brakes that would match all three adapter styles, so they could be used on any wheel style for Mercedes Benz, that mrm models would offer, plus on some other aftermarket wheels coming soon.

Well that is it for now. I'll keep you updated.

Those wheels look great!! and as far as the Adapters kudos for working on them so quickly..  So just to be clear these adapters will be available as an option to any wheel we choose to get, or only these AMGs? Sort of like a separate piece? Or this would require you to mold the wheels differently?..  I need to sort out a few things on my end, waiting for some packages etc.. but I'm literally drooling over what to get from your site all in 1 bunch.  Any eta on the maisto rings?

These are awesome. I'll likely take 1 set of each for my E Coupe/Cabriolet models.

Can you tell me how tall each set is with the wheel and tire? Can you also tell me the diameter of the "solid axle" attachment on the back. Will it be easy to drill through or will it crack?

Are the wheels staggered?

I smell like paint, I taste paint in my mouth, my kitchen has resin all over it, I haven't eaten all day and I have very few hours of sleep over the last week and I really don't know how my wife is still keeping up with me. But I love every second of it. :wavetowel2:

I am glad you like them and that everything arrived fine. can't wait to see what you do with them.

I am working on some more stuff, but at a lot lower RPM right now, because I have few commissioned models I need to finish ASAP

Was really impressed with the packaging as well. He pulled out all the stops. I love that the CSLs are staggered but they are a bit smaller than the Kyosho CSLs with tires. I'll take some comparison pics after work. They may be more closer to AUTOart's CSL size.

Awesome. Will you be doing any scale bodykits or transkits? I love these wheels, and am looking forward for more Mercedes parts. :)

actually they are identical to the Kyosho, as that is what was used for masters.
I promise I'll take measurements on all the wheels tonight and I'll post them.
