Hi all, I'm curious if you guys know which highway 61 mustangs did and did not have the louvers?  It seemed most to all 302's have them.  Do any of the boss 429's do?  I noticed the grabber blue doesn't have and also no spoiler.  And from what I've seen the orange and the other colors just lack the louvers.  I just would like some clarification (I just purchased a 429 w/o them but I actually perfer it that way, being shipped as we speakPosted Image).

I have green Hw61 1970 Boss 302 with the louvers and blue Hw61 1970 Boss 429 without the louvers and presence/absence of the louvers is in agreement with real cars - see images below. However I am not an expert on these American irons and you should write you question to another forum which is devoted to American muscle car models (diecast-pub).
A later note: look to this link for presence/absence of the louvers and wing on Hw61 Boss 429 models.

Highway 61 made also 2 editions of the 1970 Boss 302, one whit the shaker hood, like the Green one show, and also one without the shaker, I saw it in Yellow.

It's because shaker hood was an option in 1970.

The louvers and rear spoilers were not a factory option on '70 Boss 429s. If you see one, it is not correct or dealer installed.

Where is it written that the more diecast $$$ equals a better diecast?
